Virtual Christmas Performances
A few wonderful organizations are offering classic Christmas programs virtually this holiday season. What a fun way to experience the Christmas festivities from home! Get dressed up or watch in pajamas with hot cocoa or apple cider.
Keep in mind that some of the prices may seem high, but most performing arts organizations are nonprofits that have had their income drastically reduced this year. If you know of other virtual Christmas performances, please share them with us.
A Christmas Carol presented by the ACT Theater
The magic of Charles Dickens’ classic tale comes to life this year as a radio play. Ticket prices start at $20 and go up after Thanksgiving. Streaming on-demand November 27 - December 27, 2020.
The Nutcracker presented by the Pacific Northwest Ballet
Stream this classic Christmas ballet with the unique-to-Seattle scenery and costumes by Ian Falconer. Tiny Clips for Tiny Tots: A Winter Wonderland by the Seattle Symphony
Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11 am PST. In this approximately 18 minute performance, young viewers are introduced to the instruments of the string family. A string quartet of Seattle Symphony musicians creates a magical winter wonderland through classic sing-a-longs and your favorite holiday music.

Favorites from the Nutcracker presented by the Philadelphia Orchestra
In addition to selections from the Nutcracker, the program will include Humperdinck “Crackle Waltz,” from Hansel and Gretel and a holiday sing-along. Available December 17, 2020 from 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST until December 20, 2020 at 11 PM EST / 8 PM PST. The performance costs $15.
PNC Pops: Home for the Holidays presented by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra
The first performance is on December 17, 2020 at 7:30 PM EST / 4:30 PM PST and the second is on December 18, 2020 at 7:30 PM EDT / 4:30 PM PST. A heartwarming program of carols and classics. Each performance is sold separately at $12.99.
